Hal is a native of Hardeeville, SC. In June 1961 he married Kathryn Joyce Crawford, and they have three children, eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He moved to Charlottesville, VA in 1962 to work with Leggett Department Stores. While there he worshiped with the Rugby Ave congregation. He then relocated to Lynchburg VA in 1970 where he served as an elder at the Fort Avenue congregation until the establishment of the Seven Hills congregation where he served until 1985. Another move to Savannah, GA allowed him the opportunity to serve as an elder with the Bull Street congregation. After this he served at the South Fork congregation in Winston Salem, NC while working for the Sara Lee Outlet Store Division. In 2003, Hal and his wife relocated back to Lynchburg, VA where he once again is serving as one of our shepherds.
Glenn moved from Jacksonville, FL to Lynchburg in February 1995 to work for First Colony Life Ins. (now Genworth Financial). He received an AA degree in 1965 from the University of Florida and graduated from David Lipscomb College in 1967. In June 1968 he married Sheila Jane Fitts. They have 3 children Marty, Matt and Mandy and two grandchildren. Besides Florida and Virginia, the Brooks have lived in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama. Glenn served as a deacon in congregations in Florida, Mississippi, and Alabama. Glenn placed membership at Seven Hills shortly after moving to Lynchburg, served several years as treasurer, and then was appointed an elder in April 2004. His favorite scripture is John 14:1-4.
Kevin is a native of Wise county Virginia. He moved to Martinsville Virginia in May of 1987 where he met his wife to be Velvet Greer. They were married in November of 1988. They have two children and six grandchildren. Kevin has an A.A.S in Industrial Electronics Technology and is employed at Framatome as a Maintenance Supervisor. He has been a Deacon over buildings and grounds at the Collinsville church of Christ and a Deacon over Worship here at Seven Hills. He has served as an Elder here at Seven Hills since May of 2019. His favorite scripture is Psalms 46:10.
